Inspiration and idea for Wedding in Tuscany

Lucy & Roger Wedding in Villa Bucciano

Wedding Photographer Italy

Last July Lucy and Roger got married in Tuscany, at Villa Bucciano. A wonderful sunny and happy day that crowned the wonderful Love Story of this English Couple.

A Romance that began… in a Hospital! Yes, that’s the place where they first met, as both worked there…It was Lucy’s first day in a new job, and with Roger it was Love at first sight… He talked, she blushed, and a new Love was born!

When Roger decided that the right moment to make THE PROPOSAL was arrived, he needed some help to make everything perfect! Lucy says: “Roger had enlisted the help of our neighbour to buy me an engagement ring that I had fallen in love with. It’s an antique ring and was hidden away in a little shop. He had been passing money over the fence to our neighbour so that she could sneak away to buy it. He had then hidden it away in the shed! I went back to the shop for a look around and was devastated when I discovered that the ring I loved had been sold – little did I know!! Roger took me out for lunch one summer Sunday. We were sat in a beautiful garden surrounded by lavender. He told me to decide what I would like to eat, and then got down and one knee and told me I must also decide if I would be his wife!”.

One year later Lucy, Roger and the little lovely Oscar landed to Italy to celebrate their wedding surrounded by families and friends. Tuscany has so many beautiful places perfect for weddings, but Lucy and Roger had no doubt about choosing Villa Bucciano as their location. They first saw it on internet and when they went to Italy the first time, they discovered that …”it was even more breath taking than we had expected. The scenery was beautiful, the accommodation was perfect for our needs, and Barbara filled us with such confidence that we simply had to let her plan our Big Day! She instantly tuned in to our theme and really helped to expand our ideas”...
